UPA has different branches around Uganda. These branches organize workcamps and host Long Term Volunteers to support and develop their communities. Each branch consists of at least 36 members. The workcamps, that take three weeks, can be attended by any member of UPA and by international volunteers. UPA and its branches have organized dozens of workcamps in Uganda. The workcamp themes differ from HIV/AIDS counseling, sanitation, to construction work. Several examples of past workcamps can be found under “volunteer information”.
